Messing up phases such as not talking about the heat as the limit and Beerus saying “here it comes” instead of “he’s coming” made the phrase feel a lot less impactful. Been a problem throughout the entire English dub. I actually loved the dub, didn’t like the intro song, but the dub itself was good. Loved Whis’s reactions! But the one line I’m sad they changed was just that one, Beerus’s “He’s coming” line, that was far more charged and powerful. I don’t mind a dub making choices but when choices are mostly bad it is disappointing. Listen, I really hate to do this but I am SO glad that I watched this last year during the Sub run. Will always have that Get Hype moment locked in. I really hoped seeing these episodes with voices that I grew up with would be good. The gets mishandled so often is baffling. This episode kinda sucked. I haven’t really kept up with the dub of Super, as I am one of the few people that prefer the sub to the dub, but I gotta say… I wasn’t prepared for this… The voice acting was, at best, okay. I loved Sean Schemmel’s screams, though! The dub of Ultimate Battle was obnoxious, and the decision to change “Ultra Instinct,” to “aUtOnOmOuS UlTrA InStIncT” was stupid. Overall, a disappointment.
